Vincent Campos

Vincent Campos was born in the Paris region in 1988.

After studying Modern Literature and Language Sciences at Sorbonne Nouvelle University, he joined the École Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Dijon, where he graduated with a DNSEP in Art in 2014. Later, he chose to specialize further by completing his training at the Institut Européen d’Art Céramique, obtaining his certificate in 2018.

He completed internships with ceramic artist Patrick Loughran, at the Manufacture de Sèvres, and at the graphic arts center of La Métairie Bruyère. In 2017, he co-founded the performance collective SuperBanquet. Alongside this, he maintains a solo performance practice. His work often oscillates between playfulness and a form of critique, where humor resonates as an echo of adversity.

Through narratives imbued with carefree lightness, time seems suspended—yet we are invited to follow the movement. His practice spans performance and video, sculpture, printed image, drawing, and more recently, puppetry.
