Schlass éditions
Micro-publishing
Schlass Éditions is a micro-publishing house and artist book platform — a space for design research around the editorial object, driven by artists with sharp skills and boundless curiosity, and fueled by bold, hard-hitting experimentation.
This collective of independent Mulhouse-based talents was born from a desire to work together on personal projects brought into a shared dynamic. The goal is to combine their diverse practices and experiences to create and promote unconventional projects within the ever-evolving field of micro-publishing and art publishing. They aim to highlight this medium in the Haut-Rhin region.
Schlass Éditions brings together seven founding members, each with their own universe and collections, ready to collide creatively. As a small but committed committee, they collectively question, shape, and support each project from concept to completion.
The association promotes an ethic of local, high-quality craftsmanship — from design to production. Whenever possible, the members themselves print and manufacture each project. In parallel, they are committed to fairly compensating authors, being directly concerned with these issues in their own daily artistic practices.
Passionate about crossing disciplines and fired up by experimentation, they carve their path with sharp, incisive works.
