Design

In response to the clumsy and excessive overexploitation of our natural spaces, I aim to propose a form of vernacular design that restores habitability to the territories around us.

Through wanderings and explorations, I observe nature closely and draw inspiration from its systems and interactions in order to rethink the processes by which we create our artifacts. In doing so, I seek to restore meaning and depth to our artificial environment.

By mimicking geological phenomena such as aggregation, I revalue excavated soil and construction debris by imagining new uses for them, integrating them into a different life cycle. Objects are thus created, eroded, and destroyed—yet always retain the ability to be rebuilt.
