Ouissem Moalla

Performance / Mixed media

Ouissem Moalla (born 1990 in Stockholm) is a Tunisian-born artist living and working in France.

He develops visual language concepts that he experiments with through artistic expression. His works take multiple forms and are organized into series, each representing a line of investigation in response to the questions he raises. His research draws from popular cultures as well as philosophical reflections on the image.

After studying in art school and training alongside practicing artists, he chose to pursue a self-taught path.
