A space conceived and developed by two photographers who wish to share and transmit their expertise.
Career
Laurent Weigel
Has worked as an advertising photographer since 1998. After founding the Galerie Hors-Champs in Mulhouse in 2011, he refocused his activity on the production and distribution of artists’ fine art prints, in partnership with La Chambre, Photographes en Alsace, Mulhouse Art Contemporain, and the Mulhouse Biennale of Photography. His activity became firmly established and expanded at Motoco from 2015 onward, alongside numerous educational workshops for adults and school groups.
Sophie Weigel
From 1998 to 2014, worked as an advertising photographer within a furniture company group. Since its creation, she has been involved in the activities of the Hors-Champs studio and gallery, and since 2014 has led educational workshops for young audiences.
