Estelle Vinter Piccarreta
Ceramics
For the past 30 years, she has been working with clay, her true passion. This activity is like a game in which she is free to invent her own rules. This constructive exchange with the material is essential to her: by creating in space and volume, she experiments with forms and colors and remains in constant research and reflection.
With water in all its forms as her primary source of inspiration, she develops cliffs and shells, reinterpreting ancestral shapes drawn from the oceans. Currently, she is exploring the détourning of DMC embroidery threads by incorporating them into her ceramic creations.
Now having the time to fully dedicate herself to her practice, she allows free rein to her aspirations.
Alongside her ceramic work, she also creates other pieces, notably giving chairs a second life through customization.
