“I am an illustrator and comic book author-artist. Passionate about comics since childhood, I have developed over the years a narrative drawing style, primarily serving storytelling or documentary imagery.”

Education

1982: “Drawing” Baccalaureate program at Lycée Schweitzer, Mulhouse.

1987: Diploma from the Strasbourg School of Decorative Arts, Illustration department, directed by Claude Lapointe.

Career

1988–1995: Comic strips for Kodi magazine (Éditions Eisele) and various commissioned illustrations for Éditions Milan and Hatier.

1999–2013: Comic series Fil et Flo (scripts by Anouk Bloch-Henri) for the magazine Les p’tites Sorcières, Éditions Fleurus-Presse.

2010: Comic album Fil et Flo, bêtises et boulettes, Éditions Asteure. Launch of the comic blog Finnele.

2014: Publication of the first volume of the Finnele trilogy, adapted from the blog pages, published by Delcourt.

2016: Finnele, Volume 2.

2017–2019: Children’s books for Éditions Milan and Bayard.

Finnele exhibition at the Brie-Comte-Robert media library.
