Anna Soz

Anna Soz is an artist, curator, and educator with a background in media research, journalism, and computer science. Her work focuses on xenopoetics, hybrid forms of coexistence, and the ways in which contemporary technosocial conditions shape modes of thought and representation. Her current practice addresses the entanglements of ecological, political, and social crises, understood as structurally co-produced by technocapitalism and epistemic enclosure. Through her artistic and curatorial practice, pedagogical interventions, and experimental methodologies, Anna’s research pursues emancipatory thinking, speculative reasoning, and world-making. She seeks to trace collective trajectories and compositional models that reconfigure the conditions of intelligibility within transforming epistemes.

Since 2023, Anna has been based in Mulhouse as a laureate of the PAUSE program for scientists and artists in exile, initiated by the Collège de France and hosted by the Haute École des Arts du Rhin. Since autumn 2025, she has been teaching the Art in English course at the Haute École des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg.
