Marc Gu\u00e9nard<\/span><\/span>, born in 1973 in Antony (Hauts-de-Seine), is an independent photographer living in Mulhouse.<\/p>\n

He discovered author photography in 1994 while attending photography classes taught by Fran\u00e7ois Despatin in Choisy-le-Roi. This encounter proved decisive in shaping the direction of his artistic work, particularly in portraiture.<\/p>\n

Marc Gu\u00e9nard is a photographer and a phenomenologist of perception, for whom image and light function as the instruments of a dialectical composition. His photographs reveal a beyond\u2014where perception and the simple sensory knowledge we may have of an object or subject are elevated to full self-awareness.<\/p>\n

His video works and photographic projects also question the conscious relationship individuals maintain with the objects in their environment, creating a face-to-face encounter filled with inquiry. By analytically photographing the invisible links between object and subject\u2014blurring them into a shared, absolute sensitivity\u2014he breaks free from the clich\u00e9s of our society.<\/p>\n
