La Filature<\/span><\/span> prizewinner at Mulhouse 003<\/em>\u2014an exhibition of young graduates from French art schools\u2014she has lived and worked in Mulhouse since 2004.<\/p>\n

Through a reflection on the interactions between human beings and their environment, Laurence Mellinger\u2019s work moves across disciplines depending on context. Between site-specific multimedia installations, sculpture, painting, and design, her transdisciplinary research has led her to collaborate with numerous artists, associations, and institutions, and to develop many collective projects.<\/p>\n

In parallel, she conducts an experimental, multidisciplinary visual practice with various audiences, notably in collaboration with La Kunsthalle Mulhouse<\/span><\/span>, the contemporary art center of Mulhouse.<\/p>\n

Education<\/h2>\n

Born in 1972 in Metz.<\/p>\n

Graduate of the \u00c9cole nationale sup\u00e9rieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris.<\/p>\n

Graduate of the \u00c9cole nationale sup\u00e9rieure des Arts Appliqu\u00e9s et des M\u00e9tiers d\u2019Art \u201cOlivier de Serres,\u201d design option.<\/p>\n
