<\/p>\nA place made accessible for the occasion thanks to the generosity of its owners, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Hurth and Anne Hubert (a huge thank you to them for their welcome and trust). At the top of the Manurhin industrial building, transformed into lofts, lies a 150 m\u00b2 rooftop with an unobstructed 360\u00b0 view.<\/p>\n
Iva Sintic created a suite there featuring a cinema space for the beginning of the evening, an astronomy session with a telescope and a guide for the best immersion into the night sky, a bucolic outdoor dining area, and a cozy bed overlooking all of Mulhouse while remaining hidden from view. Dinner and breakfast were selected and served on site by the artist!<\/p>\n

First Stop : Spaceship Earth – lit \u00e0 ciel ouvert<\/p><\/div>\n
* Nuit Animale \/ By Laurence Mellinger<\/strong> \/ July 26<\/p>\n The magical fifth bedroom of the Nuits de Folie<\/em> nestled right in the heart of the Mulhouse Zoo, among the animals (with a thunderstorm as a bonus \u26a1\ufe0f\u26a1\ufe0f\u26a1\ufe0f).<\/p>\n Thanks to the incredible collaboration of Brice Lefaux, Director of the Zoo, and his team, the vicu\u00f1a enclosure became the setting for Nuit de Folie<\/em> for one night! Perched upstairs, the bedroom imagined and created by Laurence Mellinger immersed guests in a rustic-chic d\u00e9cor: a central bed draped in a mosquito net featuring fluorescent, sometimes playful patterns specially created for the occasion by the artist collective PriToco through screen printing; a traditional-style wash area; dry toilets; and a 360\u00b0 balcony equipped for a wild dinner and breakfast.<\/p>\n Guests were welcomed by the artist and Dominique, the Zoo\u2019s Technical Director, who dedicated his time to revealing the zoo\u2019s secrets to the two wide-eyed visitors. Dinner was served by the Auberge du Zoo, accompanied by the soundscape of a nocturnal animal world. Upon waking, there was a sense of regret that this moment of thrills and delight had already come to an end.<\/p>\n A huge thank you to the zoo team, who devoted their passion and time to this singular project. Their constant care for animals, the environment, and people \u2014 evident throughout the entire experience \u2014 will remain with everyone who was part of it.<\/p>\n Nuit animale – le lit fluorescent<\/p><\/div>\n * Ouvrir V\u00e9nus \/ By Marianne Maric<\/strong> \/ August 2<\/p>\n The Municipal Baths, dedicated to two people for the span of one night, was already completely extraordinary. Combining Marianne Maric\u2019s imagination and poetry with this rare setting is still difficult to describe, as every detail had been carefully designed for a journey outside of time.<\/p>\n Marianne Maric\u2019s Nuit de Folie<\/em> included an intimate tour of the municipal baths, a long and wonderful massage, a photo shoot session, an aquatic dinner served on floating trays with crystal tableware, oysters, lobster (yes\u2026), a wine fountain, a curated playlist, and a selection of great films (Bergman\u2019s Monika<\/em>, Deray\u2019s La Piscine<\/em>, Clouzot\u2019s L\u2019Enfer<\/em>, and others\u2026). Books were hidden in the bathrobes, bottles had unusual pour spouts\u2026 In short, an unforgettable night of indescribable beauty.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n Ouvrir V\u00e9nus – s\u00e9ance de massage pour les occupants<\/p><\/div>\n * Gratte le ciel \u00e0 360\u00b0 \/ By Vortex-X<\/strong> \/ August 9<\/p>\n On the 31st floor of the region\u2019s only high-rise building, the summit of the Tour de l\u2019Europe remains legendary, with its 400 m\u00b2 of space lined with glass walls. Simply watching the hours pass through the windows of the seventh bedroom would almost have been enough to make it an unforgettable Nuit de Folie<\/em>\u2026 But G\u00e9rard Dumora and Jacqueline Luth didn\u2019t stop there \u2014 they made the sky resonate by creating a universe where everything \u2014 the mind, the heart, the soul, and even the body \u2014 could immerse itself in the clouds and the stars.<\/p>\n An all-white dinner prepared by Mama Monza and served between two clouds, a bed facing a sun that seemed to set just for the two delighted guests, and even the weather played along perfectly: rain, thunder, and then clear skies!<\/p>\n Gratte le ciel \u00e0 360\u00b0 – vue depuis le sommet de la tour<\/p><\/div>\n * La Cabane des Berges \/ By Simon Burkhalter<\/strong> \/ July 13, 20, 27 and August 03, 10 and 17<\/p>\n Water, riverbanks, and forest in the heart of the city \u2014 it\u2019s in Mulhouse, and it\u2019s one of the city\u2019s great treasures. Being able to sleep perched in a cocoon of greenery with an open horizon is the essence of the cabin designed and built by Simon Burkhalter. Open every Saturday during the summer period, it welcomed seven couples, who were greeted with a treasure hunt leading to an aperitif, bicycles made available to them, and breakfast served on site at their preferred time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n La Cabane des Berges<\/p><\/div>\n * Nuit sacr\u00e9e \/ Par C\u00e9line Lachkar<\/strong> \/ August 22<\/p>\n The eighth bedroom of the Nuits de Folie<\/em>, known as the Sacred Room, was hidden inside Saint-Jean Chapel, which has resonated here since the 13th century. C\u00e9line Lachkar, freshly returned from Iceland, created a mysterious and intense scenography that played with stone, sculpture, and deeply mystical shafts of light.<\/p>\n At 11 p.m., the artist, masked and carrying a riddle, went to meet her guests, marking the beginning of a treasure hunt where all sense of time was disrupted. After a night beneath an arch of intricately crafted paper, guests awoke to a brunch composed of a multitude of small dishes prepared by the artist, continuing the quest for mystery begun the night before.<\/p>\n To rediscover or discover all the worlds created this summer, the rooms will be reinstalled at Motoco and presented to the public during the open studios on September 14 and 15, 2019.
